My Family.

In order to better understand The Department and the Scholastic Aptitude Test, it is important to understand the crucial role in which my family plays. They have seen me through good times and bad, through success and failures, and, if I'm being honest, they are the reason today is so wholly important.

Before getting into the details of the family, here are a few things to know:

It feels most effective to walk through the family tree, so here goes nothing...

Grandma Anna May

Grandma loves to love her grandchildren, but deep down she cares more than any of us do about where we go to school, which, if it isn't obvious, means she cares a lot.

Father

My dad is always at work. I am pretty sure his secretary is the one checking Gradeprowler on his behalf.

Mother

Mom is determined to master all things related to the Scholastic Aptitude Test. She definitely tried to hack into my Social Media Ranking to no avail.

Edith

Edith is my eldest sister. She's the prettiest. That's definitely her strongest feature.

May

May is the crazy one. She's always having a good time. She made Top 150 her senior year, but solely so she could still show up at parties.

Sadie

Sadie is my youngest sister. She may be the smartest of us all, but would never let on. She's my favorite, but don't tell Edith or May.

These are the key players in the game I like to call "Colleen goes to Dartmouth." Pray for me, I am not sure if we could handle it if I don't get placed there.

Now, back to the story...
